This is Boerewors Jack's gallery. Jack is one of the two puppies we kept (the other is Sassy).

Update, December 2008:
Jack had cruciate ligament operation in November and is getting better slowly, but is still not back to
his normal self. He is in high spirits but spends most of the day resting.
We are doing lots of swimming with him (which he loves) and he is allowed to walk down the road now.
Hopefully early in the New Year he will be able to go back to the greenbelt and beach for walks.
He is a gentle giant and is a fantastic companion.

Jack is the bigger of the 2 puppies but the more placid of the two. Jack and Sassy spend hours playing together
and are totally inseparable. On the odd occasion Jack can be found following Benji around, whom he seems to
idolize. He enjoys a good game with Sassy and Benji but prefers to cuddle up to Panda for some quiet time
in the evenings.
Jack is the "chewer" of the 2 pups. If one of the kids toys or shoes have been hijacked, then it is ALWAYS
Jack to blame. He has such an innocent expression that it is easy to forgive him. He is growing at a rate of
knots and appears clumsy at the moment. But we wanted a big Leo, like Jasper in Norway, and that seems to
be the direction Jack is heading. He loves puppy classes and his walks, and always greets other people and
dogs by barking ... something we have never encountered with either Benji or Panda. In fact we didn’t think
Ben could bark for the first 6 months of his life!!!
