Panda
At 6 years old Panda is quite an old lady! She has gone grey all over her muzzle and even her eye brows are starting to grey.
But she still has as much love for everyone as she did when she came out of the womb. Panda thrives on people and company. She is at her happiest when the house is overflowing with visitors. She has loved the expansion of our own human family and is the most gentle and loving dog with my two children, especially Kelly. She does have to be a “horse” for Kelly (2 years old) now and then but on the whole she gets away with lots of hugs and pats.
Panda is still a very vocal dog and we enjoy her interaction with us. She expressed her feelings with her voice which is so nice. (Both Jack and Sassy are far less talkative.)
She gives you the most amazing welcomes, even if I have only been away for an hour.
Panda has never been huge on fast exercise. She loves her walks just as much as the others but she ambles along and does not have the desire to chase many things! She also loves her food which is a welcome relief after the problems we had with Benji!
Panda was a great mother to her 9 puppies although they took their toll on her.
We are enjoying all of the precious moments we have with her as the matriarch of the Leo family.
